    We visit Crystal River, Florida every year to kayak the fresh water springs, hike to limestone caves, snorkel with the manatees, collect salt water specimens for observations at night, hike in the pine forest to observe wolf spiders, lightning beetles, and visit the Homosassa Wildlife Center. How cool is that!!!! The guides are knowledgeable, patient, and fun. Because of Joe's work and expertise in travel, we all have a remarkable time. Thanks, Joe!

    We just returned home from a great week at Bare Necessities rental. Upon arrival we found the home not cleaned to our standards. It was after hours. We requested proper cleaning. A sweet lady drove 60 mintues to take care of our issues. The front office made everything right and then some. They were apologetic and professtional. We then enjoyed a wonderful vacation. The house has a private waterfall pool which was sparkling clean. We were unable to get the kids ( all 10 of them) to go to the beach as they loved the pool so much. We hope to return again. Thank you for doing the right thing Sandcastle.

    Horrible experience. After driving 13 hours to their Bird of Paradise rental, we arrived to a filthy, uncleaned home. We waited over 3 hours for the house to be cleaned and it was still dirty when the cleaners were done. Filthy rugs, floors, stained nasty matresses, blankets were filthy and we were told they don't wash rugs and blankets. Horrible old nasty pillows. We were forced to go buy our own blankets and linens for our stay just so our kids has clean things to sleep on. We called Sandcastle Escapes and they were rude and told us that they had all night to clean the house, not by 4 pm as our contract stated. So we paid over $350 for a night that was completely useless to us. The cleaning company told us they had over 60 houses to clean in 6 hours with only 7 people. Not possible to clean that many houses on time and actually do a good job. I will never rent from them again. Renter Beware.
